Cairo-Alexandria-Luxor-Aswan  

(11nights/12days)

Day1:
As you arrive at the Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a Canyon representative who will assist you through the immigration and customs formalities. You will then be transferred by a deluxe coach to your 5 Star hotel in Cairo to check in and stay overnight.

Day2:
Tour of the Giza plateau where you will marvel at the seventh wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Stare into the face of the inscrutable Sphinx. Overnight Cairo.

Day3:
Enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, featuring King Tut's treasures. Then visit the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo.

Day4:
Depart Cairo by air-conditioned coach for Alexandria. The city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made famous. Overnight Alexandria.

Day5:
After breakfast, you will discover the treasures of the National Museum have lunch, visit the famous Catacombs, Pompeii's Pillar, and the beautiful Montazah Gardens.

Day6: 
the Staff will  transfer you to the airport, assist you with checking in and help with your transportation to fly to Luxor arriving staff transfer you to the hotel. Visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Overnight Luxor

Day7: 
Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel, and visit the West Bank's Necropolis of Thebes featuring the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the East Bank to board your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen of Hansa. Then, Watch the sunset over the Necropolis of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor. 
OPTIONAL sound and light show (language may vary) at Karnak Temple.

Day8:
Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Esna. Pass the Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Edfu.

Day9:
Breakfast then visit the Temple of Horus. Enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo to visit Kom Ombo Temple then to Aswan. Dinner. Overnight Aswan.

Day10:
Visit the Temple of Philae, the Pharaohs Granite quarries featuring the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam. Afternoon visit to the Botanical Gardens traveling by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan.

Day11:
Disembark the cruise after your breakfast buffet, afterwards the Staff will transfer you to the airport; assist with checking in for a flight to Cairo. Arriving, staff will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight Cairo.

Day12:
the Staff will transfer you to the airport; assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure

Cairo-Luxor-7 Nights Nile Cruise-Luxor-Dendra-Abydos-Cairo
(10nights/11days)

Day1:
As you arrive at the Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by Canyon representative who will assist you through the immigration and customs formalities. You will then be transferred by a deluxe coach to your hotel in Cairo to check in and stay overnight.


Day2: (Luxor)
After an early breakfast at the hotel we'll assist with your transfer to Cairo Airport to board your domestic flight to Luxor, in Luxor we'll provide you as well with a complimentary transfer, to your 7 Night Cruise. Check-in is at noon, if/when you arrive earlier, your cabin may not be ready, yet all the public facilities on board are at your disposal. Nile Cruise Shore Excursions, private guides, private chauffeured air-conditioned cars can be arranged for an additional fee. You will return to the cruise for a delicious lunch, complimentary welcome fruit basket in your cabin. Afternoon at leisure, maybe to explore the local bazzar on your own. Evening Sound & Light show at Karnak Temple.After the sunset and before dinner, we'll call on you to reenact your arrival at the pier and the cruise, join the complimentary welcome Zaffa (procession that will resemble an Arabian/Egyptian wedding party) with a troupe of dancers and musicians dressed with the Egyptian typical clothes, welcoming you by singing and dancing Egyptian Folklore.Note: If you prefer not to have the Zaffa, just let us know in advance.Celebrate with the panoply of a traditional Zaffa, a procession of Bedouins , Nubians, drummers, horn players, bagpipers, and swordsmen with blades ablaze, with the cruise manager & crew as well as other guests who wish to join, lining up to welcome you and greet you as you board. Then up to the dinning room, where we have even arranged to have a wedding cake prepared on board, as our special gift to you!


Day3: (Valley of the Kings)
Today we tour the Valley of the Kings, including King Tut's tomb, Valley of the Queens Then it's on to Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. After a shipboard lunch, sail for Edfu where we dock for the night. Cabin amenity tonight: One large bottle of water (one for each guest).


Day4: (Edfu)
In Edfu, we board horse-drawn carriages for the ride to the Temple of Horus. The best preserved temple in Egypt. Returning to our ship, we set sail for Aswan .Complimentary Galabya, you may wish to try on for the evening when there's a jolly galabya party aboard. A complimentary galabya will be delivered to your cabin.


Day5: (Abu Simbel)
Very early breakfast. We've planned our visit to Abu Simbel to be a highlight of your Egyptian adventure. Rising before dawn, we drive along the shore of Lake Nasser, watching the sky lighten and the sacred sun rise above the horizon. We reach the great temples while the air is clean, clear and cool, and the sun's light still golden; just right for photographs. In the larger temple, colossal figures of Ramses are seated with the gods and attended by his queen and daughters. The smaller temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, who appears as Hathor, the goddess of love, joy and fertility, symbolized by the benevolent cow. We explore these fine temple by ourselves in the quiet of the morning, admiring their ancient aura and artistry, after which retire to a comfortable hotel for refreshments. Just as planeloads of visitors arrive to throng the temples we begin our leisurely drive back along the shore to Aswan in time for lunch.


Day6: (Aswan)
Get ready for the tour of Aswan Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, The Nubian Museum and Philae Temple before we head back for our lunch aboard. In the afternoon we board a graceful felucca and cruise among the islands of the Nile, be our guest if you wish on a complimentary short camel caravan to a near by Nubian Village for tea with the locals. Return to the ship in time for your "High Tea". Cabin amenity: Complimentary Egyptian sweets/pastry platter. In the afternoon we sail for Kom Ombo where we dock for the night.


Day7: (Kom Ombo)
We explore the twin Temples of Haroeris, the Sun God, and Sobek, the Crocodile God, at Kom Ombo then returning to our ship in time for tea then we set sail for Luxor.


Day8: (Luxor)
After breakfast, on to the Gigantic Temple of Karnak & the great temple of Luxor is our goal this morning, after lunch we see the most recent discoveries housed in the relatively new & charming Luxor Museum. Return to our Nile cruiser in time for afternoon tea.


Day9: (Dendra/Abydos)
Check-out after breakfast. We drive inland to tour Denderah & Abydos Temples. We'll travel to Denderah to visit the Temple of Hathor, one of the best-preserved in all of Egypt, and also one of the most important. In the ancient beliefs, Hathor was the consort of the god of daylight, ruler of the west, and protector or the underworld. In the manner of wise desert wayfarers, we'll leave before dawn to take advantage of cool temperatures. Our air-conditioned van will take us through timeless Nile-side villages, where life revolves around the irrigation and harvest of crops. Finally, we'll reach the temple precincts. We'll take note of the unusually deep tombs, and pass under the celebrated Zodiac, in a chapel dedicated to Osiris. (Denderah is the traditional site of his rebirth.) Our full day will also include a visit to Abydos, traditional home of Osiris, god of the underworld, and a stopping point on the journey of wayfaring souls. We'll enjoy a box lunch, and return to Luxor late in the afternoon.


Day10: (Cairo)
After breakfast, check-out. Transfer to the airport for flight back to Cairo. In Cairo transfer will be arranged to your hotel. Complimentary dinner will be served at the hotel.


Day11: (Cairo)
After breakfast, check-out, transfer to Cairo Airport
